LIS Technologies raises $11.93M to diversify CRISLA technology into stable and medical isotopes

What does LIS Technologies do?

LIS Technologies is an Oak Ridge, TN-based proprietary laser technology company that develops advanced laser isotope separation technology known as L.I.S.T. The technology uses infrared lasers to selectively excite molecules, enabling efficient separation of isotopes with applications in uranium enrichment, medical isotope production, and semiconductor manufacturing.

How much did they raise?

The company raised $11.93M in a funding round led by Innovating Capital, adding to its total capital of over $47M. Additional investors also participated in this round, further bolstering its financial base.

What are their plans for the money?

With the new funds, LIS Technologies plans to diversify its CRISLA technology into the production of stable and medical isotopes. This expansion could significantly impact areas such as civilian nuclear power, medical research, and quantum computing by providing a safer and more efficient method of isotope separation.

What have they achieved so far?

LIS Technologies has made notable progress, having raised over $47M to date. In late 2024, the company was also selected as one of six domestic companies for the Low-Enriched Uranium (LEU) Enrichment Acquisition Program, securing a minimum contract of $2M.
